Anthology, a London residential developer established last year with backing from Oaktree Capital Management, has acquired the Amex House site from Durkin Group.
The 1.6 acre site is on North End Road in Wembley Park, which forms an integral part of the £2.5bn regeneration taking place in the area led by the London Borough of Brent.
Anthology is aiming to lodge a planning application to get construction completed by 2018.
Anthology managing director Mark Dickinson said: “The acquisition of Amex House reflects our strategy of acquiring well-connected large scale development opportunities in prime regeneration areas. It also demonstrates our financial agility as the acquisition was made in just 10 days. This is a site where we can add value by enhancing the neighbourhood for both local people and new buyers looking for a home in an area with good connections to central London. The plans for Wembley Park are transforming the area, making it a great place to live. We look forward to working with Brent to deliver homes for people who want to work and live in the capital.”
