Environment Agency tenders £138m of small-scale work

The Environment Agency is inviting bids for five-year framework contracts covering small-scale civil enginering and maintenance works around the country.

The Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Operational Framework contracts are being advertised in two geographical parts. Work in the 'central hub' is valued at just over £68m and involves work in Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, East Midlands, West Midlands and East Anglia. The other part is for £70m of work in the north of England.

Each involves two lots. One covers small-scale civil engineering and maintenance works, including culvert inspections and clearance, while the other is for routine maintenance, vegetation management and pest control.

Details are available online - central hub and northern hub (links to OJ TED open in new tabs).
