The consignment is a mix of Manitou 160 ATJ and 180 ATJ  models, with 16m and 18m working height respectively.

Director Trudi Nicholl said that the utilisation and reliability of Manitou platforms that the company bought four years ago had been good. “The feedback from our hire department is that our customers appreciate the Manitou platform’s smoothness, speed of operation and outreach performance. They offer the operator flexibility and an enhanced working area.”

The new ATJ platforms were purchased from Manitou dealer Mawsley Machinery of Brixworth, Northants.

Fork Rent reports revenue growth of more than 40% year-on-year over the last three years.

As well as the access platforms, Fork Rent has more than 2,000 items of plant machinery and equipment for hire including dumpers, excavators, backhoe loaders, fuel bowsers and all-terrain vehicles.
