30 free places are up for grabs at a training course in Basildon on 4th September.

Keltbray’s offer is part of a nationwide ‘Train Safe, Work Safe, Keep Safe’ campaign launched by the UK Asbestos Training Association’s (UKATA), of which Keltbray is a member.

Every week approximately 20 tradespeople in the UK die from diseases caused by exposure to asbestos fibres.

Keltbray training manager James Dawson said: “Asbestos is deadly if not handled correctly. As experts in the handling of asbestos-containing materials, we are therefore pleased to help highlight the dangers of asbestos and provide training for small companies and individual tradespeople, who may come into contact with these materials and be unaware of the dangers associated with the handling of it.

“As part of the campaign, we are offering 30 places for learners on an asbestos awareness training course on 4th September at our state of the art training centre in Basildon, where most of the training will be undertaken in our practical zone. In this zone we can show candidates what asbestos-containing materials look like, demonstrate where they can be found and discuss the handling of it.”

Call Keltbray Training on 01268 596300 for further details.
