Link lockers launch new range of in-charging lockers for construction industry

3 Nov 11 Contractors and construction site workers can now charge their power tools and valuable items in secure, CE marked facilities, thanks to Link Lockers, the UK’s No.1 manufacturer and supplier of lockers.

Link Lockers’ new multi-purpose In Charge Tool Lockers not only offer top of the range, robust storage for expensive devices such as cordless drills, laser levels and sanders but also safe onsite, charging facilities for equipment and spare batteries.

Andy Millward, Sales Director of Midlands-based Link Lockers said: “Cordless tools have long been preferred to cable tools for health and safety reasons; however spare batteries will always need re-charging during the day to ensure that equipment can be utilised throughout an entire day on site.”

“To address this need, we have purposely designed the In Charge Tool Lockers, which are CE certified, so that companies can install them in a site office and provide workers with a secure facility for recharging tools and batteries during the day or overnight.  This gives peace of mind that valuable equipment is secure and also means that batteries will always be fully charged for when the devices are next needed,” adds Andy.

Link Lockers has designed the In Charge Tool Locker range to the highest quality standards, with individual lockers featuring fully welded steel door frames and fully reinforced doors, including full height door stiffeners and welded corners.  The lockers have also been given a tough durable powder coated surface and feature a unique Biocote© protective finish, a silver-based antimicrobial technology that reduces the risks associated with bacterial cross-contamination in the workplace.
