The Building Research Establishment’s certification scheme for advanced building information modelling (BIM Level 2) is based on the requirements set down in the PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91 standards. It also considers the ability of the business to meet the requirements of an employer to implement BIM on a project.
“Being able to formally demonstrate Level 2 compliance not only allows us to expand our engagement with centrally procured government contracts but also gives new and existing clients firm assurance that our processes and procedures deliver best value to a project, including capital and operational predictability,’ Mr Chalmers added.
