RM Plant Services has begun operations with a fleet of Volvo compact excavators supplied by Volvo Construction Equipment’s utility dealer SM Plant.

RM Group Services was established 30 years ago by managing director Mark Tolley as a company specialising in tools and fixings in Wolverhampton. Mark Tolley gradually expanded his business to include small tool and equipment hire through RM Hirefix.

The RM Hirefix fleet includes Volvo compact excavators up to eight tonnes as well as telehandlers, rollers, dumpers and associated small plant.

RM Hirefix will now focus on tool hire and machines up to 3.0 tonnes in the local Wolverhampton market while RM Plant Services will offer larger machines, up to the 8.8-tonne Volvo ECR88D reduced swing radius compact excavator.
