Under the new agreement, Montana Plant Sales provides sales and service in these areas for Doosan excavators from 14t to 70t, the Doosan range of wheel loader models and the Doosan range of high capacity telescopic handlers. The company is also authorised dealer for the complete range of Bobcat compact equipment in the three provinces.
Montana Plant Sales will work alongside the other Bobcat dealer, Pat O’Donnell & Co.
The Doosan and Bobcat dealerships for Ulster are run by Northern Excavators, based at Hillsborough in County Down.
Montana Plant Sales is part of Ballyvesey Holdings. Dermot Cunnie, general manager of the construction division of Ballyvesey Holdings, said: “We are very familiar with Doosan and Bobcat products through our subsidiary, Scotia Plant Ltd, which has been very successful with both dealerships in the central belt of Scotland. So when Doosan offered us the new dealerships in Leinster, Munster and Connacht, it was a great opportunity to expand our business in Ireland and we were delighted to accept the appointment.”
Operating out of facilities at Greenogue, seven miles southwest of Dublin, Montana Plant Sales is offering service and warranty work on all existing Doosan and Bobcat machines in the three provinces, backed by genuine accessories and parts. New machines will also be stocked, as this has been one of the keys to success at the Scotia Plant dealership.
