New arrivals for M&M

3 Jul 15 Uxbridge-based M&M Mobile Crane Hire has taken delivery of a pair of new mobile cranes.

The two Terex AC 40/2L conventional all-terrain cranes replace a pair of city-type single-cab Terex cranes that M&M bought in 2003 and 2004.

The 40-tonne class AC 40/2L has a main boom length of 37.4 metres and a maximum system length of 45.4 metres with jib extensions.

M&M Mobile Crane Hire managing director Brian Tierney said he chose this model because of boom length, compactness of the crane and its low headroom.

He said: “It will be available for general duties anywhere in the UK and we fully expect it to enjoy a high utilisation rate.”
