Eurothane PL (Plasterboard Laminate) provides a combination of high quality insulation, durability and a ready-to-decorate surface and is intended for use in internal dry-lining applications.
Eurothane PL features a high-performance, rigid and closed cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core which is faced on both sides with a multi-layer kraft and aluminium foil. An integral moisture barrier ensures effective control of condensation, while an additional layer of plasterboard bonded to one face provides an external surface that is ready for decoration.
Ideal for either new-build or refurbishment applications Eurothane PL i s lightweight, easy to handle and cut, yet also tough and resilient. It can be used on any standard form of wall or roof construction and the availability of a wide range of thicknesses helps simplify the task of meeting the appropriate Building Regulation requirements.
The foam core of Eurothane PL has an exceptionally low thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK, which is some 30% more efficient than many other insulation materials. Its closed cell nature also prevents it from absorbing water which helps limit flood damage and speed up the drying-out process. The new board is also manufactured to the highest levels of quality that are normally associated with the Recticel name,
The CE marked Eurothane PL boards are rot-proof, durable and maintenance-free and offer Class 0 fire performance. They can be fixed directly to existing or new substrates, using either mechanical fixings or an appropriate adhesive plaster.
