Colchester Tile has been trading for 25 years as a distributor and retailer from their premises in Colchester, Essex.
The take-over increases the number of Nicholls & Clarke showrooms to 16 nationwide.
This is Nicholls & Clarke Group’s third acquisition of a tile business in the last three years. Chief executive David Forbes said: “We are delighted to have acquired the assets of Colchester Tile Supplies. We look forward to working with their experienced team in taking the business forward with both their existing and new customers. Despite difficult trading conditions within the last few years, the Nicholls & Clarke Group has continued to expand and look for opportunities within the tile industry.”
Nicholls & Clarke was established in 1875 as a builders merchant in Shoreditch, east London.
