The new three-storey purpose-built doctors’ surgery, designed by BRP Architects, will be built opposite the South Petherton Community Hospital which opened earlier this summer. Once completed, the access to the surgery will be via the hospital site and across Hamsfield Lane.
The new facility – which will replace the existing surgery in the centre of the village - will incorporate an adjoining, single-storey pharmacy. The building is going ahead following consultation with the local community and users of the existing surgery. It is expected to be completed next summer.
