The contract for Trafikverket involves working out prerequisites for implementation of the tunnel and Sundbyberg-Solna station aspect of the Mälarbanan infrastructure project.
Project Mälarbanan will see the railway line between Tomteboda and Kallhäll upgraded from two tracks to four.
The preparatory phase will begin next month and is scheduled to be completed in February 2021.
