The five-storey structure includes a 21,400m2 tower with surgical services, women’s services and orthopedics as well as 25,600m2 of renovation.
The new tower incorporates public and administration spaces as well as medical facilities including 20 new operating room suites and a women’s centre.
Construction is expected to be completed by November 2016.
