The contract with Sør-Trøndelag fylkeskommune is worth NOK 580M (£50m). The school will have an area of about 30,000m2 and accommodate for 1,140 students. It will focus on culture and sports and among other things house a theatre with 350 seats and a sports arena with room for 2,500 people.
Construction work starts this month for completion by August 2018.
