John Tutte will join the board of Bellway as non-executive chairman designate on 1st March 2022 and succeed Paul Hampden Smith on 1st April 2022.
Mr Tutte has more than 40 years of house-building experience. He was chief executive of Wilson Connolly before joining the Redrow board in 2002. At Redrow he was promoted to group managing director in 2009 and chief executive in 2014. In 2019 he was appointed executive chairman on the retirement of founder Steve Morgan. He retired from the Redrow board last September.
