II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Wales and West Utilities (WWU) intend to establish an agreement for the provision of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV). The average fleet age has been decreasing in recent years and to meet the extended new vehicle lead times and ensure delivery within financial years 2025 and 2026. The number of LCVs required is 110.
The duration of the contract term will be two (2) years (24 months) with the option to extend by twelve (12) months. It is anticipated that the Contract Agreement will become operational on July 2025 and will run until July 2027 with the option to extend to July 2028.
The anticipated value of the goods and services is approximately between £2.7m and £4.4m depending on the prices submitted for the bid
