West Northamptonshire Council (the Authority) is seeking a contract for a textile collection service from households within the WNC area (the Territory) via a free bookable online service. The awarded Concessionaire will be required to collect the textile type materials from the householder and transport the textiles to a suitable Processing Facility. The textiles collected will be required to be sorted and from the sale of the textile type materials, a Charity Payment will be made to the Chosen Charities.

Value excluding VAT: £135,000

Method used for calculating the estimated value of the concession

The total estimated Contract value for the Concession Supplier is £135,000.00 gross as this is based on forecasted 1,700 tonnes of textile material collected . This will then equate to £90,00 per tonne donation to WNC charities meaning a forecasted donation total of £135,000.00. The concession supplier will then seek to use the profit remaining for their commercial and business / profit use.
