Description

The City of York Council has an opportunity for Mechanical & Electrical Framework. We require contractors with extensive knowledge in designing, installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing commercial Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) assets. CYC also require M&E consultancy type services such as M&E designers, M&E condition surveys and feasibility studies to assist us with our approach to building management and to support us with reducing our carbon footprint

Framework operation description

Call Off Contracts may be awarded in accordance with Clause 4 of a Framework ("Award Procedures"), by way of

of:

(a) Direct Award of up to £40,000 per award: or

(b) Mini Competition in accordance with the Framework process

The Council may Direct Award by:

(1) identifying the relevant Lot which its Services requirements fall into;

(2) sending an Order to the Framework Provider ranked highest following the evaluation of its Tender as set out in Schedule 2;

(3) if the Framework Provider who was ranked highest is not able to provide the Services, sending an Order to the Framework Provider ranked next highest; and

(4) repeating the process set out in 3 above until the Order is fulfilled or there are no further Framework Providers qualified to fulfil it.

Any Mini Competition will be conducted in line with 4.5 - 4.7 in a Framework Agreement.

Pricing is to be in accordance with Clause 6 of a Framework Contract, the Specification and Pricing Matrix for each Lot as applicable.
