Scope
Description
Maidstone Borough Council ("the Council") is conducting a tender exercise to award a number of contracts for the provision of corporate maintenance services. These include:

Lot 1. Mechanical Services
Description
The Mechanical Services Maintenance Contract is for planned, responsive and cyclical repairs to heating, hot water, ventilation, and air-conditioning services. All PPM is to be completed in accordance with SFG20 standard maintenance specification for building engineering services. The contract is for maintaining plant and equipment 24-hours per day, 7-days per week, 365-days per year and includes emergency call outs outside normal working hours.

- £900,000 excluding VAT
- £1,080,000 including VAT

- 1 April 2027 to 1 April 2030
- Possible extension to 31 March 2032

The contract term will be for 3 years. There will be provision for up to two annual extensions of 12 months each following the Initial Period (3+1+1).
