JCB 3C gets a piggy back

Check out this video featuring a JCB climbing into the back of a truck.

Back in the 1960’s & 70’s it was very common to see items of plant, including Drott’s and JCB’s travelling around from site to site the UK, loaded in the back of tipper lorries. Although this practice is rarely seen in this country today, in other territories around the world it is still an excepted mode of machinery transport. In this video, which I believe was shot somewhere in South America, we see the driver loading his unusual looking centre mount JCB 3C backhoe loader into the back of a Mercedes tipping truck, in what looks to be a well practised routine. I recall my late father talking about how he had done this on a number of occasions in the past, but sadly I never witnessed him perform it......Enjoy.
