Despite high winds and hard rain on the first day, the organisers are proclaiming the event a storming success. With 14,000 visitors over the three days, traffic was up 18% on the inaugural 2013 event.
Plantworx has some way to go to reach the size of SED, the show it replaces. SED used to get more than 20,000 visitors, even after it moved to Rockingham. However, this is only the second time Plantowx has been held, and the first time at the Bruntingthorpe airfield.
Most comments we've heard have been pretty positive. For example, Hyundai sales manager Rick Still said: "Throughout the three days of the show the stand was a hive of activity with visitors. The demo plot was a big hit with operators queuing to try out our new range of machines which were well received by all."
