Design & Architecture: London’s Newest Railway
The Elizabeth line is the most significant addition to London’s transport network in a generation. The new railway spans 41 stations, including 10 major new stations from Paddington to Abbey Wood. In this video Julian Robinson, Crossrail’s Head of Architecture, and Andy Byford, TfL Commissioner discuss what the Elizabeth line will mean to London, the process of designing a new railway and important features of Elizabeth line stations which will make everyone’s journeys as easy, comfortable and safe as possible.
