JCB Returns to the ADT Market

JCB has returned to the ADT market with the introduction of the new JCB 715.

The machine has an operating weight of 9,320 kg. The dump body provides a heaped capacity of 7.1 m³ and delivers a maximum payload of 12,750 kg.

Power is supplied by a JCB 448 Stage V diesel engine delivering 129 kW (173 hp) and 690 Nm of torque. The engine drives through a JCB eight-speed automatic powershift transmission featuring active torque lock, which the company reported eliminates torque converter losses to maintain direct drive on steep inclines. Heavy-duty ZF axles with differential lock transmit drive to the wheels, with the manufacturer citing a maximum travel speed of up to 40 km/h.

The truck features JCB's central-position Command Plus cab with standard ROPS and FOPS approval. The cabin includes LED lighting, wide-angle mirrors, a rear-view camera, and a 7-inch touchscreen display utilising the latest JCB UX system found in the manufacturer's X Series excavators. Telematics are integrated as standard via the company's LiveLink system for remote fleet management monitoring.
