A.R.T. is a demolition company specialising in the complete or part demolition of any structure or plant machinery, from small houses for the private sector to large industrial sites for major construction companies.

Established in 1960 the family business has expanded considerably and boasts a modern and extensive range of plant and demolition equipment able to complete any task.

Working from the Newark (Nottingham) area we undertake projects all over the UK and our staff are fully trained and certified for all plant and equipment and health and safety in conjunction with C.I.T.B.

Amongst our demolition activities we also provide the following services:

Asbestos cement removal, concrete crushing and break out, foundation removal, reduce level excavation, M&E strip out, Plant hire of demolition equipment, fire damaged strip out demolition, strip down (the removal of all coverings leaving only the structure).

We are also highly experienced at hanger door and track removal.

Each project is assessed on its own merits with hazards identified and incorporated into our assessments. Written method statements and risk assessments are prepared for all our projects.

All demolition activities are carried out with nearly 50 yearâ€™s practical experience and in accordance with BS6187:2000 and CDM regulations. We are members of the National Demolition Association and the Safe Contractor Scheme.

A large percentage of our contracts are due to us being the preferred contractor thus eliminating the tender element of the project and speeding up the redevelopment process.
