Carlton Brick is an independent Yorkshire clay brick factory with an impeccable pedigree.

Based in Grimethorpe, South Yorkshire, the brickworks is proud to be the largest single-plant brick business in the UK.

This year Carlton Brick is celebrating is 120 th anniversary. Founded in 1886 by the local colliery, bricks in those days were used throughout the local community as well as underground at the coal-face.

Carlton Brick benefits from its own clay pit on site. Excavation of the quarry is carefully managed to ensure a mix of exactly the right blends of clay for making consistent, quality, Red, Buff, and Brown facing bricks. Our extensive range of House, facing and building bricks can be viewed in our brick catalogue which includes our entire range.
