Our team have vast experience in providing safe working at height solutions all over the UK and ROI, working on projects with budgets from just a few hundred to several billion pounds. The company has evolved to meet the requirements of our customers and as a result, now offer operator training through dedicated departments. The Hire Safe Solutions training department offers both recognised operator and construction related training, plus bespoke training packages which are tailored specifically to the needs of candidates and companies. Training

Training Courses

Training is an important part of the modern business and it is also a legal requirement under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSW Act), where it is an employers responsibility to ensure their staff are trained and aware of the correct procedure whilst on site.

At Hire Safe Solutions we understand the importance of operator training and we see it as far more than a paper exercise. We believe that well trained staff are safer, more content and far more efficient in the workplace. It is crucial to take note of the risks involved when working at height and according to the latest HSE statistics, in 2020/21, 35 fatal injuries were due to falls from high levels. There were also 43,000 non-fatal accidents involving falls from height across all industries and over 60% of deaths during work at height involved falls from ladders, scaffolds, working platforms, roof edges and through fragile roofs.

The old saying ‘prevention is better than cure’ has never been more relevant than it is when working at height. When things go wrong, people suffer injuries and they can sometimes be fatal. So, being ahead of the game is literally a matter of life and death. You must assess your risks accurately and change your assessment as soon as new information becomes available. You must also, always prepare both people and equipment thoroughly and never, ever cut corners on safety procedures
