Macrete supply many of the main civil engineering contractors in the UK. With both a committed team and modern facilities we possesse the necessary skills to generate high performance on all contracts regardless of their size.

Bespoke Railway Infrastructure Engineering

Macrete design and manufacture reinforced and prestressed concrete units for railway infrastructure, and have supplied to multiple railway projects throughout the United Kingdom. For over 25 years we have been supplying to railway possessions where the contractor's pre-agreed programme has always been achieved.

Bespoke Stadia Projects

Macrete offers design and supply of precast concrete products for stadia. With a wealth of experience and capability within the precast concrete industry, solutions are provided for small or large stadia design restrictions.

Flexi ArchTM Bridge Systems

The Flexi ArchTM is a patented Highways Agency approved arch bridge system based on modern precast concrete methods whilst performing like a masonry arch bridge. The system has been employed in numerous projects across the UK. Licensing opportunities for this technology are available for overseas manufacturers.

Precast Shaft & Tunnel Lining Systems

Macrete has supplied segmental linings to numerous prestigious projects in the UK, Ireland and abroad. Segmental shafts are available from 1.52m to 27.00m diameter, with a full range of cover slabs also available, custom designed and manufactured for both traffic and pedestrian loadings.

Concrete Pipe Systems

Macrete have catered for the pipe industry for many years and offer a wealth of experience within this sector. Our pipes range in size from 450mm diameter up to 2100mm diameter.

Steel Banded Jacking Pipe Systems

Manufactured to comply with BS 5911: Part 1:2002, our sizes range from 600mm diameter to 2100mm diameter, and are available with steel banded or in-wall joints as required.

Agricultural Systems

Macrete Ireland Ltd offer a wide range of agricultural solutions, both for livestock management and waste material storage. Above ground slurry storage systems are available from 60,000 to 1 million gallons capacity. Other agricultural products include 6 gang cattle slats available from 2.74m to 3.95m long suitable for 3.4ton axle loadings and 4.50m to 5.00m suitable for 4.5ton axle loadings. A wide range of single and double cubicle beds and tank beams can be supplied, along with single and double feed troughs and 15 to 300-gallon water troughs. A wide range of single and double loading retaining walls can be provided, from 2.44m to 5.00m high.
