Robinsons Longcliffe Ltd. was founded in 1956 by Allan Robinson at a small unit in Longcliffe, Derbyshire. In the early 1960's the business expanded into a larger unit just a mile away in Brassington. The company stayed in Brassington for over 20 years growing in size and expanding in capabilities. During the mid 1980's the company grew from strength to strength, demanding Allan, his team and son's to relocate once again to its current 5 acre location in Longcliffe, Derbyshire, where both the head office and workshop can be found.

Workshop services

Robinson's experienced team can undertake any aspect of fabrication, and have the capability of handling single fabrications of up to 30 tonnes.

General workshop fabrications include:

• 1 piece silo's up to 4.5 meters in diameter

Steel Stock

Robinson's also carry over 50 tonnes of stock steel which enables to undertake most projects the same day as recieving the order, and with steel deliveries most days we can source and provide a competitive quote on any non-stock items.

Site Services

Robinson's site service teams are made up of fully certified and competent personnel. All members off staff carry there own personal competency training folder, which include some of the following qualifications:

• Appointed person

• MEWP

• Crane / Hiab operators

• Working at Height

• Confined space

• IOSH

• S.P.A passport

All training is provided by fully accredited training companies.

Robinson's can provide Roofing and Cladding installation, repairs and maintenance of all types of industrial roofs, gutters and rooflights. We carry out all industrial roof sheeting and cladding services including: single skin, double skin, composite panel, standing seam and oversheeting systems.

Crane Hire and Transport

Robinson's Longcliffe Ltd, offer crane hire up to 50 tonnes in capacity; and hiab hire up to 50 tonnes in capacity. All drivers are CITB qualified and competent for any lifting task. In addition, our competent personnel, many of whom are also qualified Slinger/Signallers and Appointed Persons can plan, organise and supervise lifts under general CPA crane hire's or 'CPA contract lift' conditions.

Robinson's supply crane and hiab hire to numerous quarrying and recycling organizations through out the UK and all drivers carry SPA quarry passports and full certification for the vehicles they use .

Robinson's offer transport services between a 7.5 tonne rigid vehicle with a 3 tonne carrying capacity to a 32 tonne GVW lorry with a 50 tonne rear mounted Hi-ab.

The head of the fleet being the Renault Kerax with its 50 tonne rear hiab boasts a lift and carry facility of up to 10.5 tonne.

Robinson's have the experience to deliver the Engineering solution for you, contracts are undertaken on a variety of industrial, commercial and civil engineering contracts both in the public and private sectors throughout the region.
