Trident design & fabrication specialise in all aspects of steel fabrication from initial design through to site installation on a national and local level, with an excellent reputation for quality and service.

Our expertise in structural and architectural fabrications, including in house laser cutting means that we can undertake projects from prototype work and stainless steel hand railing right through to bespoke structures and portal frame buildings.

Structural Steel

Our expertise in structural steel means that we can offer our customers anything from a single supporting beam, to a bespoke structural steelwork package for the more complex projects where a standard solution is not always possible.

We are experienced in the installation of internal structural steelwork where normal installation methods are not always possible due to restricted access for lifting equipment and steelwork, as is often the case with renovation and refurbishment projects.

We always carry a large amount of structural steel stock so that we are able to respond quickly to urgent enquiries, and with our own laser cutter we are able to process complete jobs within 24hrs if required.

Architectural

At Trident we offer you a specialised design and installation solution for all your architectural steelwork. Whatever your requirement from stainless steel and glass staircases to bespoke entrance canopies, by working with you or your architect we can deliver the solution you need.

With a full design service, in house laser cutting and skilled fabricators and site fitters we are the obvious choice for all your architectural requirements.

Laser Cutting

Trident design and fabrication offer a first class laser cutting service, with same day/next day turnaround possible on stocked material. With our CAD/CAM facilities, we are able to offer the initial drawing process right through to the final laser cut part.

Our 3kw laser can cut up to:

20mm mild steel,

12mm stainless steel and

8mm in aluminium,

We can accept DXF, DWG, IGES, Solidworks and VDM files. We can also draw your parts from emailed or faxed drawings or sketches, or even reverse engineer parts from samples supplied. Automatic sheet nesting of dissimilar parts enables best sheet usage, achieving the most economical cost per part.

Laser cut parts can be offered separately, pressed to suit using our 100 tonne - 3.0m press brake, or as part of a larger fabrication.

We are also able to laser cut holes, slots etc. in box sections and pre formed parts up to 250mm in height, due to the large Z-axis of our laser.
