Purlin and Side Rail Systems

Metsec’s Purlin Division is the UK’s largest designer and manufacturer of light gauge galvanised Steel Purlins, Side Rails and Mezzanine Floor systems for use in a wide range of industrial and commercial developments.

Metsec offer a wide range of Z, C and Mezzanine floor sections designed to provide optimal levels of structural performance in roof, wall and mezzanine floor constructions. All sections are designed in accordance with Eurocodes and are tested by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.

Steel Framing

Metsec developed and now lead the market when it comes to light gauge, galvanised steel structural framing systems suitable for a wide range of applications in most sectors of construction.

Metsec guarantee expert design and cost effective bespoke high quality solutions and our unrivalled customer support package includes taking the structural design responsibility from the customer at the outset.

Our highly experienced technical team of structural engineers will produce detailed designs which are covered by our Professional Indemnity Insurance. Similarly, our manufacturing capacity ensures the fast and accurate supply of materials to site ready for installation, which enables customers to meet the tightest of building programmes.

Metsec Lattice Beams

The Lattice Beams Division of voestalpine Metsec plc was sold in 2012 and is no longer part of our group.

The new company now trades under the name of Metsec Lattice Beams Limited and will continue to offer the same product range enjoyed by its customers over many years.

Engineering Products

Metsec specialises in delivering bespoke, engineered solutions. We provide custom roll forming, profile manipulation and a variety of additional engineering services for a wide range of construction, industrial, agricultural and automotive applications.

Dry Lining Systems

Metsec Dry Lining specialise in the manufacture and supply of light gauge, non-load bearing, cold-rolled formed metal products for use in partitioning, dry lining and ceiling systems.

Thanks to extensive research and development, combined with high volume advanced manufacturing techniques, all of our dry lining systems to conform to the latest British and European standards.

We supply our strategic partners, a network of major distributors, where our products are frequently own branded.

Our dry lining systems are fully and independently tested in UKAS accredited laboratories with proprietary gypsum products, providing reassurance that our products can be specified to meet statutory requirements.

Cable Management Systems

Metsec Cable Management manufactures cable containment and support systems for the mechanical and electrical services industry.

All are complete systems with simple accessories, offering flexible design solutions and the rapid installation system.

A prefabrication service is also available for major contracts, bringing significant time and cost savings for M & E contractors.
