Our position today

After being at the forefront of aluminium body development and manufacture in the UK for more than 60 years, Wilcox today continues with its traditional values of quality and service, combined with a development of innovative new products to meet the needs of an ever-changing marketplace.

We now employ around 100 staff at our Market Deeping site and offer a one-stop-shop for commercial vehicle aluminium body building.

Our sales department has over 115 years’ combined experience in the industry, which means we can easily tailor our product specifications to each customer’s individual operational requirements.

In-house Design

Our skilled engineering team can then produce detailed CAD drawings to translate these requirements into practical, production-ready plans.

IRTE Aggregate Tipping Trailer

Alongside our core business, we have designed and developed new products to capitalise on an ever-changing market place, including the lightweight Aggregate tipping trailer that conforms to IRTE category A tipping stability (as do all of our tipping trailers and animal feed blower trailers)and the Walking Floor for bulk and aggregates.

Manufactured in the UK

Finally, using the latest techniques, our highly trained production team manufacture the vehicle bodies and trailers, as well as carry out repair and service work on both our own and other manufacturers’ products.

Steel Bodies

To complement our aluminium products, we also supply a range of high tensile steel bodies on both rigids and trailers and from June 2016 we have secured a dealership agreement with Cifa to supply their truck mixer range to the UK which allows us to offer our customers a one stop shop for most of their requirements.

We are confident that this allows us offer a wide range of quality products that cover the full spectrum of transportation activities in various sectors of the UK market, including waste transportation and recycling.
