Great asset management starts with reliable data - and the expertise to translate it into clear, strategic investment decisions.Selwood Housing is seeking an experienced and strategic Asset Manager to lead our asset management function and shape how we invest in, manage and sustain our homes for the future.This is a senior, influential role at the heart of Selwood's asset planning and investment decision making.About the roleAs Asset Manager, you will shape how Selwood Housing invests in, manages and sustains its homes for the long term, providing visible technical leadership and supporting confident decision making from operational teams through to Board and committee level.Working collaboratively within a small asset management function, you will ensure asset strategies translate into deliverable programmes that protect safety, compliance and value for money, while supporting sustainability, energy efficiency and decarbonisation ambitions.What we're looking for:We're looking for an experienced asset professional who shares our values and takes pride in using insight, data and leadership to shape confident long term investment decisions for our homes and customers:Customer DrivenYou put customers at the heart of asset decisions, prioritising investment that improves safety, quality and long term sustainability of homes.AccountabilityYou take ownership of asset data, budgets and recommendations, delivering accurate reporting that supports confident decision making.Develop & LearnYou are committed to continuous learning, keeping up to date with best practice and improving how data, systems and processes inform decision making.Champion CommunicationYou communicate complex information clearly, tailoring messages to support confident decision making at all levels.You'll bring:* Relevant professional qualification in a property related field such as building services or building surveying.* Experience working with energy data to produce EPC SAP and environmental performance reports. * An excellent level of knowledge and understanding of strategic asset management in a social housing environment. * Ability to analyse and process technical data to inform and develop investment decisions. * Ability to be able to effectively summarise complex technical information into management reports and present to non-technical recipients. * A commitment to Equality and Diversity.For further information on the role, please review the job description attached to the advert.Pre employment requirementsThe successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic DBS and Right to Work checks.Ready to get started?If you're ready to apply your asset management expertise to shape long term investment decisions with real impact, we would love to hear from you!Our Commitment to Diversity & InclusionAt Selwood, we strive to respect the diversity of our staff.
