Five make Powys highways framework

The council has divided the work into two frameworks: one for general highway works and one for carriageway resurfacing. With three companies on each list, only one Alun Griffiths made both.

For general highway works the council has chosen:

• Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd, Abergavenny
• Dawnus Construction Ltd, Swansea
• ERH Communications, Cwmbran

For carriageway resurfacing, framework agreements have been signed with:

• Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd, Abergavenny
• Hanson Contracting, Loughborough
• Tarmac Limited National Contracting, Wolverhampton
