He has been tasked with helping to re-establish a UK dealer network for the brand.
He was previously southern area sales manager at rival firm Takeuchi.
Mr Clarke said: “It’s great to be a part of Hanix’s new set up. Hanix minis are 100% Japanese built, quality machines, with a sensible price tag. Having kicked off my career with Hanix almost 20 years ago, I had no hesitation in teaming up with them again, and also with managing director Michiro Ito, who I had previously worked with at Takeuchi.”
Mr Ito added: “We are delighted to welcome Paul to our new team. He has an excellent track record in mini-excavator sales and will help us expand our business as we target growth in southern England. Paul’s appointment is integral to our plans as we enter this new and exciting phase for Hanix, which has also included the recent re-location of our sales and service operation from Manchester, to a modern facility close to the M40 at High Wycombe.”
