Skanska is investing US$265m in the office building in the Seaport District in Boston, USA. The land purchase of US$38m was made in December 2012 for the development, which will have a total leasable space of about 41,000m2. Skanska USA Building will carry out the first phase of the project at a contract value of US$132m.
The project is a 17-storey office and commercial building with ground floor retail. It will target a minimum of LEED Gold certification. PricewaterhouseCoopers will occupy approximately 75% of the building at completion.
The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter 2015.
