CHIC (the 'Authority') is procuring a 4-year Framework designed to allow specialist local and nationwide Window and Door system suppliers with lots for the supply of Windows and Doors (uPVC, Timber , Aluminium Composite and Alternate Systems) Canopies and Roofline Components as set out in this Notice. The Framework created may be accessed by any of CHIC’s Members (Employers) and any Authorised Users. The requirements include the fabrication and supply of the above components (including distribution for others to install) with an option for the Supplier to undertake fitting of windows, doors, canopies, and roofline components covering a variety of disposal systems manufactured from conventional materials and also a wide range of manufacturer’s proprietary systems to include rainwater gutters, downpipes and soil and vent pipes. Materials will also cover fascia, barge, soffit board and wall cladding systems.

Communities and Housing Investment Consortium Limited will observe a

10-day standstill period calculated in accordance with the Public Contracts

Regulations 2015. Under those regulations, aggrieved bidders may by way

of proceedings in the High Court seek relief in respect of alleged breaches

of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 which may include declaring any

award ineffective and/or seeking damages. After the expiry of the 10-day

standstill period, CHIC will unless prevented by order of the court conclude

and enter the Framework Agreement.
