Digger’s Parisian adventure at Intermat 2012

Digger Blogger | 14:37, Wed April 18 2012

The Digger Blog has just spent the last two days in Paris attending the Intermat 2012 exhibition, with fellow members of the Construction Index team. In a series of reports I hope to bring you a small taste of the event.

Our first port of call was a visit to the large and stunning JCB stand in the outdoor area, where a host of new products were on show.

But before we toured the stand to take a closer look at some of the new machines on offer, we were in for a treat with a high octane performance by members of the dancing digger display team, supported by some amazing acrobatic dancers, depicting man and machine in action.

One of the highlights for me was actually getting a close up look at some models from the new fuel efficient, 23-strong JS range of excavators, including the new JS210 model featured here.

The machines new cab was also attracting a lot of attention during my visits to the JCB stand, but an early morning visit on the Tuesday enabled me to get a good and unobstructed shot of it.

The Digger Blog is in the process of organizing some operational stick time in some of these latest models so a full report on them will follow soon.
