Commenting on the post that appeared on March 7th Michael said “I have just read the post and noted the last comment on site safety, just thought you might like these photos taken from a Wall Street construction site in 1929 which seem to apply!” 
It just seems incredible to those of us who are working on modern day construction sites that people were actually allowed to work in these conditions, piles of rubbish, timber, and heavy machinery in close proximity to site operatives it looks like an accident just waiting to happen.
