JOB DESCRIPTION for a Groundworker:
Our client is looking for a groundworks gang to join their project in Exeter. You will be required to work on all aspects of commercial groundworks including but not limited to Earthworks and Drainage. Our client are ideally looking for 3 operatives - A ganger, Excavator operator and a Groundworker and are willing to negotiate on rates depending on experience.
The contract is on a temporary basis but could lead onto a permanent role for the right candidates; working hours will be 8am-6pm Monday-Friday, and may involve some weekend work.
Daily responsibilities will include:
* Operating 1.5 tonne machine
* All Groundworks associated with StreetWorks projects
* Ad hoc assisting of work on site
Requirements
* A valid CSCS card
*At least one member of the gang needs to have excavator ticket, StreetWorks ticket
* Own tools
* Own PPE - High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen
