My client a multi-disciplinary consultancy who work across all infrastructure sectors who are currently looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors in Aberdeen, Nottingham and the Midlands. You can be based anywhere as long as you are able to reach these locations once or twice a week.

About you:
You'll be a keen and articulate communicator, managing your stakeholders and driving contractual excellence within your portfolio.

You will be a self-starter, will have worked independently, managed difficult conversations and ultimately delivered results. You will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management (or similar), or be qualified by experience with NEC 3 & 4 experience being advantageous.

You will know the difference between a VLOOKUP and a Pivot Table and with this role covering sites across the UK you will need a valid UK driving license to travel around 2/3 days a week with overnight stays as required.

You will have exposure to the end-to-end contract management lifecycle from working with category managers on tender events to ensuring contracts are fit for signature through to successful delivery by managing and tracking compensation events, early warnings, and handling the risk register.

You'll be working for a manager that understands there is a life outside of work and at times, working in construction isn't just 9-5. As long as your projects are on time and on budget, you'll have the flexibility to do the things you need to do.
