Principal Civil/Highway Engineer
Newark
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Are you an experienced Principal Civil/Highway Engineer based in Newark? Do you want to work on exciting infrastructure projects for a well-established company? Are you looking to take the next step in your career?

I am currently seeking an experienced Principal Civil/Highway Engineer to join my clients industry-leading team in Newark. You will be focused on either Aviation or Highway based projects, dependent on experience. They are a multidisciplinary consultancy with nearly 28000 employees and over 500 offices worldwide.

Duties include:

  • Discipline lead for the production of 3D models using Civil 3D
  • Production of drawings from the 3D model
  • Coordinating the production of detailed drawings and specification output
  • Project and drawing/model reviews
  • Review of design calculations and basis of design assumptions
  • Specification and report writing
  • Overseeing the quality of technical/design output of junior colleagues
  • Working closely and supporting Director
  • Client meetings and site inspections.


Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be Chartered or Incorporated with relevant professional body or hold a relevant degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. It is also important that you are proficient with Civil 3D and have experience working within a engineering consultancy, preferably experience within the Aviation and/or Highway sector.
