You will be working for an innovative business who have developed a modular housing system with high end design values. This existing manufacturing business employs highly skilled individuals across construction, development and manufacturing backgrounds.

A new Foreman / Forewoman has been created to support their growing pipeline of orders, overseeing output in their respective areas of activity: Exterior; Interior, Roofing. Working collaboratively, our Foremen / Forewomen will inspire and lead their colleagues to take pride in creating homes, leisure and commercial properties that delight their customers.

They are looking for:

• Experience of working at an Operative level or above within the construction/woodworking industry
• A working knowledge of the timber and steel framed construction process
• Experienced in safe use of hand tools, air pressure tools, various saws, drills and pneumatic equipment
• Demonstrate a high standard of safety awareness and compliance - taking necessary action to prevent and/or record issues
• Take the lead role in planning day to day manufacturing activity
• Anticipate and identify production issues and take prompt action to come up with a solution - consulting with the Factory Supervisor, managers and colleagues as appropriate
• Identify and propose initiatives for improvement in efficiencies and cost-effectiveness

In return they are offering a salary between £14 - £16 per hour, 37 hours per week plus benefits
