Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction projects
- Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of construction work
- Analyse and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications
- Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and procurement processes
- Monitor project costs, prepare interim and final accounts, and ensure cost compliance
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
- Provide professional advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
