The project is being jointly developed by Great Portland Estates (GPE) and Brookfield.

Enabling works, including the demolition of the previous building on the site, are progressing well and are expected to be completed by July 2012, GPE has confirmed. However, there are no plans to start construction of the new tower yet, GPE has said. “Building will only be commenced once a suitable pre-let has been entered into and discussions with a number of potential occupiers are on-going,” the developer said.

The proposed building has been designed by AMWB, a collaboration of architects Allies & Morrison and Woods Bagot. Structural engineer is Robert Bird Group and M&E consultant is Hilson Moran Partnership.
