Welsh Water (Dwr Cymru Cyfyngedig) has invited contractors to bid for a four-year construction and maintenance framework worth up to £156m.
The four-year contract, with the option to extend by a further two, covers repair and maintenance, meter installation and renewal works, and trunk main cleaning.
The framework will be divided into lots:
- Water network repair and maintenance (North Wales);
- Water network repair and maintenance (South Wales);
- Trunk main cleaning;
- Meter installation and renewal (North Wales);
- Meter installation and renewal (South Wales).
Welsh Water may appoint one or several contractors to the framework.
The deadline for expressions of interest is 20 October.
