TCS provides consulting and project solutions primarily to the UK civil and defence nuclear markets and has annual revenues of approximately £70m. It supports clients from plant design through to construction, operation and then to decommissioning, waste management and clean-up.
Current projects include a £10m two-year contract in partnership with Golder Associates to examine and develop plans to clean up contaminated land at Sellafield.
Both companies disclosed to the stock exchange this morning that they were talks but said that there was no certainty at this stage that the deal would complete.
