But the near-term outlook is that the overall demand for Atlas Copco’s products and services is expected to decrease somewhat, it said.
Orders received increased to SEK21,379m (£2bn), representing organic growth of 1%. Revenues were up 7% to SEK22,094m.
Operating profit grew by 2% to SEK4,918m, corresponding to an operating margin of 22.3%, down from 23.1%.
The profit before tax amounted to SEK4,734m and the profit for the period was SEK3,486m.
