This €97m (£85m) bypass will connect the N21, N22, N69 and N70. Work involves the construction of 8km of dual carriageway to the East of Tralee and a 5.5km single carriageway link road from the bypass to the N22 Killarney Road.
The scheme has a 21 month construction programme. Once complete, it relieve traffic congestion in Tralee town and improve the road transport corridor between Tralee and Killarney.
