The first is Liverpool Street Advanced Station Works (C501). The second is Whitechapel Station Advanced Works (C511).
The Liverpool Street Advanced Station Works will see Bauer perform diaphragm walling, as well as removing a number of large diameter existing piles. In addition Bauer will be installing a number of geothermal energy loops to the cages of the diaphragm wall and all in an extremely tight working space, the company said. The work is expected to take eight months to complete.
Work at the Whitechapel Station Advanced Works project is expected to take seven months to complete. This contract will involves installation of a diaphragm wall for the circular Cambridge Heath shaft and diaphragm wall, plus the removal of existing large diameter piles at the Durward Street shaft. Works will also be carried out in an extremely confined area, adding to the project’s complexity, Bauer said.
